2026/04/10 Robert

The Center for Advanced Radiology and Neuroimaging (CARNi) is currently hosting its first seminar series! Our fourth session will be held on April 10th.
This seminar series aims to share how Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is applied across various disciplines. Whether you are a new student or faculty member, a scholar looking to explore interdisciplinary research, or simply interested in scientific advancements, we warmly welcome you to join us!

📌 Seminar Information
Time: 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm, Friday, April 10, 2026
Location: Room 402, Library and Information Communication Building, Yang Ming Campus & Virtual (Link provided upon registration)
Note: Meals will be provided for this event. Please indicate any dietary restrictions if you RSVP for the in-person seminar.

🎙️ Speaker Introduction
Speaker: Dr. Robert Baumeister
Position: Assistant Research Fellow, Center for Advanced Radiology and Neuroimaging (CARNi), NYCU

📖 Abstract This session presents an early and exploratory analysis of morphological and functional features comparing 3T and 7T MRI to showcase the significant signal fidelity gains provided by ultra-high field imaging. This lecture will guide the audience through:

  • Variance Pattern Examination: Examining underlying variance patterns between field strengths.
  • Signal Stability Assessment: Assessing functional signal stability to determine how field strengths influence data consistency.
  • Identifiability Comparison: Evaluating differences in functional connectome identifiability.
